Linda Hoyt – Biography

Classically trained fine art oil painter with a BFA from the University of Michigan and a degree in Interior Design, Linda has taught art as well as worked for over twenty years in the commercial and residential interior design field. Always knowing she would ultimately pursue painting as a full-time career, Linda studied classic realism and contemporary painting with accomplished artists including Michael Grimaldi, John Budicin, Henry Stinson, Michael Klein, David Gray, Michael Lane, Steven Assael, Jeff Legg, David Jon Kassan, Marc Dalessio, Rose Frantzen and Zoey Frank.  In 2007, Linda began a part-time apprenticeship under the direction of Tenaya Sims, Georgetown Atelier. She continues to practice and refine her skills, exploring the infinite color and spatial relationships experienced in the every day.
